About the School
Public School, Lalbagh, Darbhanga, Bihar, was founded in 1961. It is spread across an area of 8,094 square metres. The Darbhanga Public School Association is responsible for the management of the school. Various facilities such as a swimming pool, music rooms, dance rooms, IT infrastructure, a library, labs, transport facilities and health and medical checkup services are provided for students.
Public School, Darbhanga is a co-ed school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Classes are offered from LKG to Class 12 using English as the medium of instruction. The school offers a PCM stream for the students. A variety of events and activities including parenting seminars, sports day, annual fest, storytelling sessions, yoga activities and extracurricular activities are arranged by the school for student’s interests.

Public School Lalbagh Darbhanga was founded by Late Dr. L. K. Mishra, former Vice-Chancellor of Bihar University. His journey across the State and Nation brought the school into the lives of thousands of citizens and laid the foundation for value-based education.
